    Room: Meditation Hall

Our Tuesday Practice & Study evening this week will be devoted to the writings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the founder of Shambhala, in honor of the annual commemoration of his Parinirvana (the passing of an enlightened being). We will practice for awhile and then read selected writings from Rinpoche's published works.  Photocopies of the selections will be provided.

We will also read a letter from the Sakyong and listen to a short audio address to the Shambhala community from Lady Diana Mukpo (Trungpa Rinpoche’s wife), and, if time perhaps, watch the film "Discovering Elegance" that documents a wonderful Shambhala Art/Ikebana exhibit the Vidyadhara created with his students.  We will then conclude with a brief community gathering with toasts.

Please feel free to bring an offering of a beverage (bubbly or otherwise) or a light snack for us to enjoy!
