The Basic Goodness Series

The Basic Goodness series offers a sustained reflection on the meaning of basic goodness as it relates with our sense of self, others, and reality. Directly investigating the nature of the self, relationship and society, and reality can be a helpful clarifier for newer practitioners and an excellent deepening for students who are well on the path of practice.

In this course, Basic Goodness II, we explore our relationships with others. How do we envision a good human society? We will look at our aspiration to help our world, and at specific aspects of social transformation. Our course focuses on four aspects of society: relations with family (household), professional life, entertainment, and economy. The emphasis in this weekend is on our modern experience of living in a global society.

Prerequisite: No prerequisites. This class is open to anyone who has received basic meditation instruction.

Price: $150 General Public. All are welcome regardless of ability to pay. Some Working Scholarships are available, to request a scholarship contact Susie Cook at [email protected].

For those who can offer more than the program price, we have a "Patron Price" of $200.  Your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for other who are not able to pay the full price.
